Bagpiper: Why did you wear a kilt to prom?

Chait: “I want to leave an impact on my senior year.”

BP: Where did you get the kilt?

Chait: “Hot Topic, along with my vest. The boots and hat I got online. It is not as cheap as you think.”

BP: What do you want to remember about this night?

Chait: “I want to remember being who I want to be, and not being afraid. Most of all, I want to have fun.”

BP: What do you want others to remember about you?

Chait: “I want them to remember that I wasn’t afraid to stand out and not conform.”

BP: What did your parents think?

Chait: “My mom was actually very supportive. My dad just said to have fun.”
